I am writing this post with no intention of hurting any particular religion, caste or community. But this subject is not discussed much in the past but everybody had their opinions on it.
Earlier people from South India were seen as good people. In fact they are considered to be the honest people, doing things within law and very calm and composed. We North Indians have always made fun of them in our schools or colleges and continued to do so because they do not react in bad manner. But these days the trend is changing. These people are now emerging in latest scams, they are now having billions of rupees in their bank accounts by looting the common people. I am not saying all South Indians are corrupt but now their names are mentioned more in news.
One politician has gone to an extent where he wants noble prize for his achievements. In actual he should be thrown out of the country for using his power for illegal activities. This is not just limited to politicians as they are in different category. But common people who are from South behaving in rude manner. Though it might be because they have seen enough of North Indians bullying them. There is a limit to certain things. And now they are giving us back what they were given in past.

okie, interesting observations. personally i found Hyderabad is a friendly place in my visit though i had a tough time with the auto. I would like to share a experience of talking about the indians by one of my friend. My friend works in a UAE bank and a singaporean. Once while talking we ventured into the areas of indians in her friend circle. she just has a single line to say, if a indian is from the northern side they are pretty well behaved, you can get alsong them. okie, now i donot know what to make out but, food for thought
interesting point you have mentioned. South Indians are typically conservative. They don't get along easily, its their nature. However, North Indians are more open and try to find out their interest in every thing (not all of them are like that).
north indians are really selfish..i have lot of experiences...they are least bothered about others.i helped my north indian friends so many times,but i was shocked when i had an emergency,the way they respond and the way they escaped.It was not only shocking painful toooo.......

North Indian writing this post? WOW. Even in the current situation, I can name 20:1 in favour of N.Indians being corrupt vs. S.Indians. Truth of the matter is, since a N.Indian is the prime minister and his Madam is from North as well, they're using CBI to go down hard on the Southern ppl and hence it seems to the outside world that the South Indians are corrupt.

What the f does the corruption has to do with north India and south India. there are corrupt people everywhere in India. its just an opportunity they need. You did not understand the post. It is certainly not towards dividing nothies from southies.It is just an general observations that earlier we do not use to hear names of people from South in scams but now we are. This doesn't mean that Northies are not corrupt now. There might be they have become more corrupt than earlier.

I beg to disagree.I'm a South Indian myself and we mock North Indians here and they don't say a word.I have even tried this in Punjab and Delhi,a place where North Indian population is high.North Indians are the ones who can't react.I mean a North Indian guy even cried.Yes,as a Keralite,I do have a superiority complex as North Indians are just dirty workers here and yeah the Hindi walas who brag that Hindi is the National language of India when it's not.I don't consider them as Indians though.So yeah,you know how many North Indians are beaten up in Cochin,Kerala,Mumbai,Bangalore,AP?Stil saying South Indians are nice.I'd say a Thank you for that :D

i am from kerala. Let me say my opinion. We have a lot of north indians working here. I can bet a thousand dollars that the most people in kerala hate them. A typical north indian guy would be like this- He would be dressed in a fucking old fashioned pants. And he will wear a full sleeve shirt, but not tucked in. He will have something in his mouth. he will talk loudly no matter what others think. He will have a cheap mobile in his hand and stupid north indian song playing. He won't use headphones. just noisy everywhere. But i must agree that north indians have produced some great business men. But on the whole it is south which is better. I am not saying it because i am from kerala. North is all shit.
Look, I personally don't take active participation in these matters, i.e, North Indians Vs South Indians. We're Indians, and that's what matters.
I'm a Typical North Indian. Aggressive, funny, loving, sporty, gaddi waale rapster :P No doubt, people of North are straightforward, but that's my personal view, may be because I have not seen the Southern culture. Obviously, I would like to live and find a Northies if ever in life I get settle down there in the South.

I am a south indian myself i am studying in the college where majority is north indians.. only few of us are from south. We would act in a polite way, help and try to get friendly with them but when it comes to do the things back they only act selfish which i witnessed

North Indians do not know how to behave in public. Period. Especially abroad, they talk in loud voices in restaurants and the like, greatly irritating everyone in the vicinity. Ruining the name of Indians abroad.
A group of Punjabis went to a hostel, there were some Keralite guys, somewhat built. Another North India nearly got chopped up, by Tamil tiger sympathizers. Best is to keep your mouth quiet when dealing with another culture or tribe.
The word "Indian" is misleading, it is only a nationality, reality is they are very different nations inside it, different languages, attitudes, mindsets. So when you go abroad, just project your tribal/ethnic identity more strongly and refer yourself by that identity, rather than share some common artificial identity with North Indians, when nothing in common really exists. British made us into one country. Previously we were kingdoms and nations of our own.History is History it won't change.
Hello Guys, We are human beings because we can recognize what is right and what is wrong. Do not use that to detect by nativity. Try to help others least we can do. Hungry and poverty is not different for south indian and north indian. If we are not united then I can say this time a new country will rule us.
I have been living in North Indian(Noida) for about 6 years. The one thing I learned from here is if you have to live in north Indian You should be rude. Here people wont care about what others feel,They are narrow minded , They are selfish and they think they are superior of all and gives no respect to fellow people. I had such an incident at my office, He irritated me in such a way that, he started against my work, telling I took a lot time,so that he couldn't complete his. Actually he was doing the design and he was the one who has to complete it at first, he doesnt have to wait for me since I do functionalities. But to protect his image infront of his boss he started blaming on me with rude manner, After hearing all these I couldn't resist and I had to slap him like anything. The one thing which made me wonder is, other fellow north indians started supporting him even though they knew he is responsible for everything. Finally my boss understood the real situation and he fired him.
