2012...What do you have for me?

Another year is going to end soon and this time I do not want to talk about all the negatives which we usually do while blogging. I do not want to end this year on low. Infact, I will say that it has been a good year for me. If we end the year 2011 on high note, I am sure 2012 will be more exciting. The year passed by as expected. I have settled in life now but don't want to be complacent. I have to be more ambitious, I have to find more challenges. I don't want my life to be easy going. I want to get involve in as many things as possible.

I have noticed that nothing in life come easily. You have to be on your toes always. Continuously look out for those opportunities. As soon as you conquer one thing there is another challenge lined up. Now 2012 should be more challenging. I have few things in mind which I will certainly like to get my hands on it. So be ready 2012, I am coming. Better be good!!

P.S. The promise which I made last year that I will write more posts was not fulfilled by me. I have equaled the number of posts from last year but couldn't passed it. Therefore, I will not promise this time and lets see how much I write.

New Delhi's Neighbor - Gurgaon

Today we were discussing about Gurgaon. How this city has come up in last 10 years and now is it worth living here or not? When Delhi became congested and there was not enough space to open new offices, companies did not intend to shift base from here as they saw that there is no dearth of professional and skilled labor here. So they decided to find a new places not far away from Delhi which are now called as Millennium Cities which include Noida and Gurgaon.

The companies have set up huge offices in world class buildings made by DLF, Unitech and other builders. I think these builders would not be in a position they are now if there were no Gurgaon or Noida. But looking back at the things, talking about Gurgaon it has not developed as one would have like to. If any city would have given 10 years to develop, they would not want to see what Gurgaon is today. Lack of transport, water, electricity, and bad roads, you name them and you will not see all the basic necessities of a city in a good condition. I daily travel to Gurgaon and when I try to compare Delhi and Gurgaon, I see Delhi far better than Gurgaon. If you want to travel from Huda City Center Metro Station to any place, you will find auto rickshaw walaas hurdling around you and try to loot you with the fares. This is not just limited at Huda City Center, infact same scene is visible at every metro station.

Delhi metro is one big thing which has happened to Gurgaon but it is only because of efforts from Delhi government otherwise Haryana government has not invested anything in the city. They have just taken money from companies so that they can setup their offices. But it is hard to find any project started by Haryana government. Its only private players like DLF who have started working on Gurgaon metro. The roads in Gurgaon are worst. One should have balls of steel while traveling on Gurgaon roads.

Though many residential colonies are now there in Gurgaon, but still I feel that it is not a good place to live. I have seen people struggling with their lives in Gurgaon. If you are rich and in the elite class then its OK to live there but middle class families still find this place tough to live. I find Delhi to be more exciting and worth living.

India's Weakening Economy

We are so confident about the fundamentals of Indian financial economy that we are not ready to believe that situation is very bad. Politicians, economists, analysts terming it as temporary phase as they are over confident about the economy but they do not see that this temporary phase has taken one year now. Everytime I  see news channel, people claim that situation is not bad. They need to open their eyes. Don't they see that bloody dollar is now trading at more than fifty four (54) rupees. Don't they see that India's industrial output is -5%.

If you cannot see this, you don't deserve to be the economist. US multinational companies who have operations units in India are gaining the most. Company who was spending 1000 dollars previously, now have to spend only 850 dollars on India operations. India need more dollars. Policy makers should take this situation seriously otherwise there will be time when you will hear that after Greece its India who is defaulting and recession will grip us as well. They (US) have come out of the situation very well and now learned their lessons but our leaders are so corrupt that we cannot handle such situations.

Nandan Nilekani UID failure

Just read an article on The Wall Street Journal in which Mr. Nandan Nilekani saying that his UID project is on track. I respect this person a lot as he has taken Infosys to great heights but dude this is government work. As a citizen of India, I am saying that your project is quite far away from the expected timelines. I have applied for UID some 4 months back but there is still no progress on that.

You are blaming opposition but its a common man who should be blaming you for not giving them their UIDs on time. I  know some huge amount of money has been granted to this project but there are no results. I am not seeing any results.

China started getting scared of India

In what was considered to be a major shift in the China's recent concerns, India started building up army personnel over Indo-China disputed border area. India is planning to increase the military personnel from current 40000 to 140000. They are just scared of the numbers being increased by 100000 and everybody knows our army jawan's strength as compared to Chinese. Read this Article and you will get to know the China's concerns.

Reacting on the move, they say that "It will result in a tense situation in the region and harm India's own interests. Increasing troops on the border area is always a sensitive move and it is especially sensitive to increase troops on a disputed border area". And what are you doing in Arunachal Pradesh is a right move? Arunachal Pradesh is a part of India and will remain in India. Do whatever you want but you will not get even a pie from here. If time comes our brave soldiers will sacrifice anything to protect the country and yes your defense budget is more than India's.

Further eliminating the threat they said that "In an era when precision-guided weapons are developing rapidly, everyone with common sense knows that concentrated troops could be eliminated easily". Hahahaha.... Everybody knows how are the products which are "Made in China". To further making your situation more difficult read this. I know this is more of a hate China post but we know that you are a great country with some great minds. Try involving those great minds in some constructive process and both India and China can work towards betterment of people in both the countries rather than fighting over a land and showing who is more superior.

Indian Railways - Sleeper Class

I was reading one interesting blog post about Indian railways and wanted to share my views and experiences as well on the topic which I think every Indian must have experienced in his/her life. I have traveled many times in the Sleeper class of Indian railways and truly it is a place to be. So much of stuff happens here that people remember it for a long time. I will not narrate my one journey but will share the experiences from different journeys.

Once when I was going to my parent's native place, I have seen two luggage bogies moving on one track without any engine. I was around 12 or 13 at that time but still remember that because this thing in itself is unbelievable. Now people started discussing this in the compartment in which I was traveling. One uncle ji said that there might be some engine pushed them and now they are on their own. I don't know what would have happened at that time.

I often use to travel to Maharashtra from Goa Express and we have a group of known families traveling together. So lot of my friends use to travel together. The first thing that we use check out is the reservation charts of our compartments and find out the girls names and their ages. When we find any girl of our age, we become so happy as if we have found girl friend. So as everybody settles down, we start checking out other compartments and the pantry car where we make one friend from the pantry staff and use to eat there only.

Once I was coming from Secundrabad from AP Express after giving my ICFAI interview, I found a whole college group who have also involvee me with them because my seat is with them. So they use to tell each other something in Telugu and then I have to always ask what is it all about. And there is a girl in the group who has kind of liked me. I showed her the tunnels from the gate. When I was about to get down from the train at Nizamuddin railway station, I heard the voice in Telugu talking about taking a phone number. I just smiled at her as she was kind of shy.

Now I prefer traveling in AC coaches as there are few responsibilities on me, I miss those sleeper class traveling. Now you will find girls busy in their laptops and phones singing songs or watching movies. In these coaches nobody would make even eye contact with you. I found these journeys very boring.

Who is taking a dig at New Delhi?

From the past few years, media is taking full on against New Delhi reporting various articles that it is a bad place to live as compare to other cities. It is not safe for women, it is a rape capital, etc, etc. These reporters are mostly those people who are finding it difficult to live in New Delhi. They are not adjusting well enough and then blame New Delhi for everything. It is not a place that makes city, it is people who make it. When there are people who cannot adjust and find it difficult to survive then they blame the city. When will these people understand that it is you who make the city. If you want to blame New Delhi, first see your habits. I have seen many people from different cities spitting, littering at every place they find it. I am not saying that these people should not come to Delhi, but can you guys please behave and show some courtesy and manners to make this place better place to live.

So if you think only New Delhi is bad then please read below mentioned articles as well. You will get to know that it is not about any particular city, it is about people who dwell here.

Article 1
Article 2
Article 3

My point here is that these journalists, reporters does not see the real India. They just have some writing skills which they show in these stories when they do not find certain place good. Every city has its advantages and disadvantages, it is just the people who need to adjust.

Greece Financial Economy

I want to understand how one nation is deciding all the financial markets of the world. Greece is bankrupt and every country is giving suggestions to make it overcome with the situation. Whenever I see  news of stock markets up or down, the reason given is "Greece". How one country can affect so much?

I know that whole European economy is affected but why every nation is focusing on Greece. Today markets are down and the reason given is "Asian markets slip on Greece". Now when bailout packages were announced for Greece, the markets were up. Somebody please help me in finding out that why only Greece is deciding world's financial markets. Thanks!!

Delhi Jal Board

This is again one of those posts where I find another government department not responding to my queries. I think we seriously need to improve these departments otherwise nobody would be able to use their services. This time it is "Delhi Jal Board". No matter how many websites are there on web of these government departments, none of them works. You cannot find the "contact us" page working.

There is a customer cell number available on Delhi Jal Board website of one Mr. XYZ who is heading the Delhi Jal Board office of my area. When I tried calling on that number, to my surprise, I find a girl on the other side. I asked her is this Mr. XYZ's number? She said yes. I asked her can I talk to him? She said that he has forgotten his number at home. Wow, that is great, Mr. XYZ has forgotten the government provided cell phone number at home to be used by her daughter. I asked her to provide me his office number. Her reply was "I don't know". Daughter doesn't know her dad's office phone number. What kind of family is this? I really wanted to call on this number again at night to ask this person that why this cell phone number is at home. But I don't want to get into that.

There were other numbers as well on the website but nobody picked it. Then I went to the Delhi Government website and there I find helpdesk for Delhi Jal Board. There is a number mentioned of one Mr. ABC (Nodal Officer). I called on that landline number, nobody picked for the first time. Then I again tried the number, Mr. ABC picked up the phone and I told him all my concerns. He replied that I do not look into this matter, I am from drainage department. Mr. ABC please go and drown yourself in drainage. I hope somebody from Delhi Jal Board read this and do something about it.

Occupy Everything

The hottest trend around the world is to occupy various stock exchanges of major financial cities. You will hear so many of it like "Occupy Sydney", "Occupy Tokyo", "Occupy Rome", etc. It all started with "Occupy Wall street", where protestors marched in New York. The protesters set up camp in Zuccotti Park. Locals and protesters call it "Liberty Plaza", the park's former name. I am writing this post assuming that you all know what is this protest all about. Well if everybody is in debt, then who is the creditor.

I think it is people who have to change their spending habits. First of all I am against paycheck every week. It is not a case in India, where people used to wait for a salary to come and then they allocate their budgets, plan their spending and save some amount of money every month. This way they do not panic at the time of crisis. In USA and other European countries you get paycheck at the start of the weekend. When you get the money, you always tend to spend and then you don't have any savings left. Therefore, government has to give salaries at the end of the month only so that people can plan their spending accordingly. This way people will develop the habit of less spending and also they will save some amount of money.

One cannot just go on the streets and protest against companies or governments. The salaries in US and Europe is more as compare to India but still they cannot save. I know that things do not come cheap but when you know this, why don't you plan your money outflow. When you have money on Friday, why do you always want to eat at the restaurants, why do you want to go to pubs and discs every weekend. Learn from a common man in India. How he manages the whole income which he gets once in a month?

I think, therefore I blog

There are many bloggers who just start their blog and then forget about it. There are 2-3 posts and then the blog lost its continuity. Time is the most important factor. Many people do not get time to write. They start their first post and promises to continue it. But as the time goes by, they tend to drift away from this. I always enjoyed blogging as it gives me some way to express my views on various subjects. Though facebook and twitter also serves this purpose but that is amongst your known friends only. Blogging gives entire world to view your views. Also facebook and twitter gives you limited space. Here you can write as much as you want.

I want to continue this blogging stuff for the long time. Now it has become my hobby and I do not want to leave this. I always look out for subjects and topics that I can write about. I get upset and uncomfortable when I do not write new posts in an week or so. Though it had happened quite a few times but I always make up for that by writing more and more posts. I feel relief after writing posts. I have observed that commenting on other people blogs motivates them to write more. This I have observed from few of the bloggers who I am following. Please continue to comment on my posts also so that I continue to write more. As I am writing this post, I have something in mind to write about. Wait for new post!

Private and Public Sector Banks in India - Difference

Today I experienced two different situations. I have an account both in private sector bank and public sector bank. Private sector bank is not that large as compare to public sector bank. Ok this is not making sense. Let me give the names. I have account in Standard Chartered Bank and State Bank of India. Now people in India knows which bank is bigger. For those who do not know, Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) does not have large number of branches as compare to State Bank of India (SBI) and SBI is one of the oldest bank in India.

Scene 1 - Visit to SCB

I entered Bank, and found the temperature pretty cool as compared to outside. It was a hot day. It is a two floor branch in which ground floor is for the customer care and first floor is for all the transactions. I find a lovely looking lady sitting on her seat working on something and there was a plate in which "May I help you" is written. So I went to her and

Me: Excuse me!
Lady: Yes
Me: I want my Bank Statement for the last 6 months.
Lady: Sir, you need to write the application. Here is the page, have a seat and write it.
(I wrote the application and gave it to her)
Me: Here is the application. (I saw her concentrating on something seems to be very important)
Lady: Sir, I am counting something very important. Can you give me 2 minutes?
Me: Ya sure, take your time.
(After 5 minutes)
Lady: Sorry for the delay Sir.
Me: Its Ok!
(She entered my account number and gave the print command)
Lady: Sir, our printer is upstairs. You can collect your statement from there and get it stamped from me.
Me: Ok
(I went upstairs and got the printouts. I also need to submit some cash into the account, so I completed the transaction. I went downstairs again, got my statement stamped and signed. I thanked her and came outside.)

Scene 2 - Visit to SBI (The great Indian bank for common people)

I entered the branch and it was chaos all over. There was no AC working. I was lost and couldn't understand whom should I ask for bank statement. I found a man sitting on his chair working on something. His age seems to be more than 45.

Me: Uncle Ji! (Ji is for respect given to people who are above our age)
Man: (Without saying anything)
Me: Mujhe apni bank statement chahiye last 6 months ki. (I want my bank statement for the last 6 months)
Man: Account kis branch mei hai? (Which is your home branch?)
Me: Vasant Kunj
Man: Wahin se milegi. (Go there, you will get it from there only. The man must be aware that this Vasant Kunj branch is atleast 25 km far)
Me: (in my mind): WTF!
(I thought of asking the same thing to the bank manager who was sitting some seats away busy in discussion with somebody)

I tried to enter his cabin. I thought may be he will ask me about the problem. But he ignored. My friend who was with me from the start said: Yahaan kuch nahi hone waala. Chal..(This place is useless. Lets go!) I agreed and we came out. I cursed the public sector banks and said to my friend, that is why these banks are so backward.

There is a bank whose ambiance was superb and services are world class. Even though I do not have my account on this branch but they gave me my bank statement. And then there is this bank who does not care about their customers. Its only our last choice that we have to open accounts in these banks so as to approve different services. These public sector banks really sucks!!

Steve Jobs is dead...

The man who is a idol to many technology freak people is no more. He was simply a genius. One can compare him to great Einstein or Newton. He has so many patents to his name. He has that instinct where he is unique from everybody else. His mind is always busy in creating something new and innovative for people. That his why his company has created some of the revolutionary products like Ipod, Iphone and Ipad.

For everybody he is some kind of legend, but he is very good human being. In his last 2-3 years, he drew a salary of only 1 dollar. He will always be remembered by everybody.

Now he has died, I should not say this but one thing always remained in my mind is that he created products for rich people only. In America, everybody can afford if but in India, the products are very costly. When Ipod was launched common man in India couldn't afford it. Similarly Iphone, the current market price of an Iphone in India is above Rs. 40000. And now same with Ipad. Have you seen any common man in India listening to Ipod when it was launched or now Iphone or Ipad.

Though he is a genius and had done some remarkable job in the industry but the products his company made is not for the common people.

Day of Coincidences

I will never ever forget this day (sometime in September) when I experienced something special. It was a day with full of coincidences. I do not know I should call it coincidences or faith as I am not that religious. But that day I observed that there is some invisible power helping each and everybody on this earth.

Background

I was traveling in a Delhi metro as usual for my office. I boarded the metro and after sometime I got the seat. There is this guy sitting next to me with a baby in his arms and 3 bags on the floor. I think he was coming from New Delhi Railway Station. The thought came into my mind that how will this guy get down from metro with that much luggage. So I remain sitting till everybody board off the metro and offered my help to take his luggage. We went downstairs. I was taking care of his luggage while he has a baby. After reaching the gate, he thanked me and took auto rickshaw and went.

Events Started

1. We used to wait for our three wheeler who picks office staff. So I was waiting for the three wheeler with my friend. I was just telling my friend, about a lady who used to come daily and today she hasn't come till now. He was also noticing that lady daily. Just as we were discussing this, we saw her and told each other about the coincidence. So this is first.

2. There is a advertisement on this three wheeler from which we used to go from Metro Station to our office of some college which provided degrees in MBA, BBA, etc. So I was telling my friend that there is another three wheeler which has this similar advertisement. Now what we saw, we got amazed. That three wheeler has just entered the road on which we were going from a turn. I told my friend about the incident in a metro and he told me that you have helped somebody, therefore, what you are saying today, it is happening.

I agreed to him and said that OK, if that is the case I should speak something good. I told him just casually that we will get the appraisal today in office. It is a mid year of a financial year and there was no chance of it.

3. We entered office, got busy into our work and forgot the topic. After lunch, I came back to my seat and saw my friend's skype message. It said "Bhai tumne to kamaal kar diya" (Bro, you have done a wonder). I asked him with a question mark that for what. Then I checked my mail and saw the mail from HR and there was a appraisal form attached in the mail.

Title/Designation

A thought came into my mind that why titles/designations in Government are same as in organizations. I mean the titles used in governments should be different from companies/organizations. Say for example President, I am Ok with country having a President or Vice President. But why these titles are used in organizations. President or Prime Minister is a Head of the country and President in companies is not the Head. Though most of the CEOs are also President. Then why using President and Vice President in companies

I am totally against using Presidents and Vice Presidents titles in companies. An alternative can be Managing Director.

Another bomb blast

Another bomb blast rocked Delhi today. Many lives lost once again. News channels will repeat the same news again and again. Politicians will fight each other on news channels and blame each other. A few common sentences will be spoken by our political leaders. These are:

1. We strongly condemn the attacks.
2. It is a cowardly act.
3. We will not succumb to terrorism.
4. This was a planned attack.
5. We had warned about it earlier.
6. The government will give X amount of money to victims' relatives.
7. There are no leads yet.
8. We can't fight terror alone.
9. The perpetrators will be brought to justice.

We are tired of these words. This government cannot bring these people to justice. There are many examples at present where these people are enjoying their lives in India. We are feeding them with our money. We can only pray that such things do not occur again in future.

Riots in London

Whats happening in London is very sad. I was of the opinion that these activities happens in South East Asian countries only. Europe is mostly calm. People do not believe in riots and protest mostly in peaceful manner. I always complaint of Indians that they choose violent path to protest. Now we have learned to protest silently (Anna Hazare cause, candle night vigil at India gate, etc), these Europeans are getting violent.

Do you think UK debt crisis is somewhat causing this? If not directly but indirectly giving people the reason to fight against the authorities/government. People are unemployed. They do not have any work. They have enough time to think negatively. Remember "Empty Mind is Devil's Workshop"? People need to be more optimistic. They should not take part in such activities as it is hurting their nation only. I hope everybody is safe in London.

Common Man's Dos and Don'ts in Recession

We have seen the 2007 to 2009 period when economy was in recession. We saw people struggled to save their jobs in that market scenario. The service companies were not getting projects. The products company were not able to sell the products. The money generation factor for an individual was either bare minimal or going down at a constant pace. Now the air has started again. How Can a common man survive this recession? What should be their DOs and Donts??

Recession or not, one should be very much optimistic and never give up hope. However, here are some ideas to cope up with recession.

1. Save money. Do not do over expenditure. Do not go on shopping spree. Do not waste money in having exotic luncheons and dinners. Save money by using less power and waste less water. Wasting resources such as power and water have many adverse effects. One of it is your bill. Try to spend money in a control manner. Plan out your budget and stick to it. Until some unforeseen situation occurs.

2. One should always buy a health insurance policy. Even if you already have a policy, confirm that it is updated and you have paid the premium due.

3. Postpone your heavy expenditures. If you are planning to buy a car or that dream house, wait for a while. There might be chances that these things will go cheap in future as there will shortage of demand.

4. Be optimistic. Do not lose heart if you are not getting a raise or even if your salary is cut down. Be optimistic that things will change and things WILL surely change over time.

5. Learn more. One of the major effects of recession is that it has increased the competition. Now for one job several people are contesting. You might lose job because you are not keeping with time. Be ahead in knowledge. Try to read and learn. Give extra effort at office. try to get recognized in office. Whenever you get time. Read read read and read.

Just know that Change is the only permanent thing. Everything else is volatile.

Another Recession on the Cards?

5th August 2011: According to recent economic situation in US, the probability of recession has been doubled. The chances are that there will be recession is 10% and it may come in the next year has 35% chances. According to latest reports, US economy is not growing. Global stock markets tumbled on Friday due to fear that US is heading towards another recession. Already European debt crisis is worsening. No matter how much bailout packages has been announced, the economy is not recovering at all.

What caused these reports is the latest findings of some key economic indicators like consumer spending, manufacturing, job cuts and GDP. If US economy continues to perform like this, we are not far from a 2008 situation.

The effect of fears of US recession also impacted Indian stock market as the sensex closed 387 points lower than the last day. Lets hope we all survive these tough times.

North Indians Vs South Indians

I am writing this post with no intention of hurting any particular religion, caste or community. But this subject is not discussed much in the past but everybody had their opinions on it.

Earlier people from South India were seen as good people. In fact they are considered to be the honest people, doing things within law and very calm and composed. We North Indians have always made fun of them in our schools or colleges and continued to do so because they do not react in bad manner. But these days the trend is changing. These people are now emerging in latest scams, they are now having billions of rupees in their bank accounts by looting the common people. I am not saying all South Indians are corrupt but now their names are mentioned more in news.

One politician has gone to an extent where he wants noble prize for his achievements. In actual he should be thrown out of the country for using his power for illegal activities. This is not just limited to politicians as they are in different category. But common people who are from South behaving in rude manner. Though it might be because they have seen enough of North Indians bullying them. There is a limit to certain things. And now they are giving us back what they were given in past.

This subject is very controversial and I am not against South Indians. I accept that North Indians are the most selfish in India.

I think this is a matter of debate and I don't think there will be a conclusion. More important, we are Indians first.

My First Smartphone

Ever since I got hold of Motorola Milestone XT 720, I was amazed to see so many features. Thanks to android platform which gives me so many useful applications for free. This is my first smartphone and I was overjoyed when I bought it 5 months back. The phone typically has fast processor, graphics are very fine and camera is superb.

One of the best features which I find in ths phone is the motorola phone portal, where if you are on wifi or USB internet you can directly open your phone on any computer. The phone will give you one web address which you can type on your computer and you can view all your contacts, photos, and sms's. You can also send sms's from computer screen while connected to phone through wifi or USB internet.

The mobile camera is of very good quality. There are features like auto focus and xenon flash. The phone is bit bulky but looks wise it is great. It has that manly look. The touch screen is good and equipped with gorilla glass.

Overall I find this a very good mobile device but few things which lacks in this are the low internal memory, battery usage (though it is affecting all android based phones).

Dhoni Reversed Decision of Bell at Trent Bridge

Its a great sportsmanship showed by Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Indian Cricket Team Captain at Trent Bridge on 31st July 2011 by reversing the Ian Bell's run out decision. I don't think there would have been any other captain in the world who would have done that.

When Harbhajan Singh was given out wrongly in the first innings against Stuart Broad which gave him hat trick, England did not reversed the decision. What happen to sportsmanship than? I think the way in which cricket is played these days, there is only one country who play it in proper manner i.e. India. Hats off to you MSD.

Indian Railways New Website

The new website for Indian Railways https://www.indianrailways.gov.in which is opened for public recently has been temporarily stopped. Now people will again have to go the old website where lot of tickets were booked by agents much to the inconvenience of the common people.

The previous website which is still running by IRCTC hacked daily at around 8 AM in the morning when lot of people try to book the tatkal tickets (as reported in the news). The new website was inaugurated by then Railway Minister Mamta Banerjee in a ceremony which was advertised in many newspapers. Now this service has been stopped without giving any reason. I have created the login on this new website but then again I have to use the old IRCTC website to book my tickets which does not have tickets available anytime.

The invention of lying - Why people lie..

The reason I am writing this post is because I have seen a movie "The Invention of Lying" and I am pretty moved by the story. In the movie there is world shown in a different way where nobody knows lying. Whatever they speak is only truth whether it is about insulting anybody. And there is a guy who invents a lie for the first time and changed his life completely. He was shown a real looser in the beginning but then when he started lying he became rich and his life becomes good.

But my point here is not about promoting liars but to observe the fact that how world accepts things which is not known to them. If any one of you have seen the movie, you would have realized that how easy it is to fool people around. You just need an idea to seek their attentions and when you get that attention, you can influence them by any information. But for that you need a command.

But there are still some things which you cannot fool around just like it has been shown in the movie. First is the Death, no matter how much you control your environment, death will come to you. Second thing is Love, you try hard, lie anything but you would not get love until you remain true with the people around. That is why love of the family is strongest where nothing is hidden and if there is something hidden then that relationship/family is not strong.

I would like you guys to watch the movie and decide yourself what do you think about it.

I Need Spain

After watching the movie "Zindagi Na Mile Dubaara", I really wanted to go to Spain doing all the adventure activities which Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol and Farhaan Akhtar did in the movie. Though I watched it in theater but felt peace when these guys were sky diving. I wonder how it would feel like when doing myself.

Till now, I only knew about Raul, Xavi and few other soccer players from Spain but now I know whole lot of things about Spain not just limited to Soccer. The Tomatina Festival, Pamplone Bull Run, etc. just amazing. I really like the roads there cruising through beautiful mountains and rivers. Also the towns have those street roads which gives the impression of bricks lying in a proper manner is just amazing.

I don't know how is the weather there but from the movie it seems OK. I think one must go out from their busy lives and spend some days in these exotic locations and Spain is one such place. I wish I would go there some time in my life. The tourism campaign of Spain rightly said "I NEED SPAIN".

Mumbai blasts again

13th July 2011 - Three blasts in Mumbai. All news channels flashing updates. No confirmations on deaths. Two days ago, so many lives lost in train accident. Tell me for how long you will bear this. There is a limit to everything. What is this bloody UPA government doing. Didn't they learned from the 26/11 terrorist attacks. For how long you will continue to keep the life of Indian people in danger.

Few years back, I have seen Connaught Place, New Delhi bomb blast live in front of my eyes. I have seen bodies lying, people crying for help. I don't want to seen that picture again and again. If that bomb has exploded few seconds later, I would have been the casualty there.

You (Government) have employed so many measures but of no use. Where is our hard earned money which we give it to you goes. Why we put high alerts only after blasts. There is America where after 9/11, there are no terror attacks. Infact they killed the person (Osama) who was behind the attack. And you are just giving food to Ajmal Kasab. You are bringing up that asshole who killed so many innocent people. There is already corruption everywhere in Congress government and now this. Tell us why common person is suffering and you maintaining your accounts in Swiss banks.

The irony is common people itself are to be blamed. They have chosen this government who is just fighting over how to reject the Lok Pal bill. They can use Lathis against Ramdev but they will show no guts to go after the obvious culprits. Spiness Cowards!! Our puppet PM needs to be gifted a pair of bangles. This is my request to people of India, please please please do not vote for this Congress government ever again.

Waiting for Google +

Google + has not been launched officially to all the people but still it has gathered huge response from the social networking crowd. I am looking forward to use this social network platform. Facebook has been a game changer for me till now but now it will have tough competition from Google.

Features like hangouts in Google + in which you can group chat is new in social networking but facebook has announced that it will also bring this feature. Till now facebook does not have video chat but it has introduced it now with collabration with Skype. I won't move from facebook as the picture suggested but surely would like to get my hands dirty with Google + as soon as possible.

Even Mark Zuckerberg, Founder and CEO of Facebook has joined Google + to know the features. Google is not inviting other users to join as of now so as to increase the anticipation of the product. I would say it is teasing us.

UPA sucks!!

Very unhappy with the events happening in New Delhi. First people were beaten by police who were protesting silently and then UPA government accusing Baba Ramdev in every manner possible. One thing which came out from these events that UPA government is not able to see so many people against them and they fear that in the next elections they will be out of power if this continues. This will happen anyway. Middle class has now reached the break point where they can clearly see who is right and who is wrong. Though some will be still ignorant by not voting against this government in the next elections.

Also it is clear that UPA cannot handle such situations. Kapil Sibbal is one of the most corrupt person now accusing Anna Hazare for starting all this. Shame on you Mr. Sibbal. Two persons who have started the revolution in a peaceful manner and you are accusing them? Shame on UPA.

And now Manmohan Singh who has lost all the respect from Indians saying that the events are unfortunate but there was no alternative. Are  you crazy Mr. Singh? You do not know how to handle such situations? Where are your advisers? You should not be the Prime Minister of India. You do not deserve this seat. Shame on you whole UPA and congress.

Difference between Indians and people from other countries

This is an interesting topic which I feel of discussing. People here in India are very different to people from Europe, Australia or USA. Here they depend more on others rather than believe in doing stuff themselves. For example, in India you can find lot of unorganized labor for any work (from painting the house to cleaning the toilets) whereas in other countries there are only professionals for this who charge lot of money and these people are organized professionals working for some firms who provide such services. They prefer DIY (Doing it yourself). In India people do not wish to do such things rather they will choose some labor to do it. Though this labor is cheap but they work on their own and do not listen to customers. There are no guidelines to perform the tasks and that is why it is difficult to manage them. The most important people in these categories are house maids, drivers, plumbers, electricians, etc. You cannot instruct them or they will leave. Then Indians are so lazy that they will find it difficult to do it themselves.

My parents just returned from Australia and they clearly noticed the difference. They were staying there at the locals' house. They told me that they are very independent and do most of their work themselves. Even in the relationships they are very different. From the childhood, children are taught to be independent and not to depend on others. Right from the beginning when they are 5-6 years, they were told to do things on their own. If they are crying, nobody would come to them to wipe the tears, instead they have to take care of themselves.

I have seen one article where it is written that lots of NRIs who have now returned to India find it difficult to manage these unorganized labor. Its an interesting read.

India- Cricket World Cup Champions

I waited waited and waited for almost 2 months to write my 100th blog post only to let Sachin complete his 100th century in Cricket but that is taking some time. And India winning the Cricket World Cup is more important which is even Sachin Tendulkar's dream. So ending that jinx, I have finally decided to write my 100th post.

Congratulations to Team India and all the people of India for winning this Cup which matters most. This is the thing which we all waiting for for the last 28 years. In 2003, we came so close but couldn't finish on the winning side. 2007 was forgettable. 2nd April 2011 was the day, the destiny for India and Mahendra Singh Dhoni to lift the cricket world cup after 28 years.

Whole team dedicated this Cricket World Cup to Sachin Tendulkar. Virat Kohli rightly said "Sachin has carried the burden of the nation for 21 years. It's only fair we carry him now". Thanks India Team for making my 100th post so special.

What happen Mr. Singh?

Its a shame Mr. Prime Minister, one of the very well qualified economist of India is not able to control rising prices. Mr. Manmohan Singh what happen to your knowledge, your education? All failed? During elections, it was said by each and every Congress supporter that he is very well qualified, only deserving candidate to be the Prime Minister of India. All I can say is "his theory and economics is not working at all". Sad!
